In addition to linking to pages and files, you can also link a visitor to a specific section of a page, using what are known as anchor links. There are two steps to the process - creating the anchor, which will be the position on the page which your visitors are forwarded to, and creating the anchor link that points to it.

Creating the Anchor

Begin by editing an existing Text Block. Next, place your cursor where the anchor should be added - this is the position visitors will be forwarded to. After placing the cursor, click the "Insert/Edit Anchor" button (anchor icon), located on the far right of the WYSIWYG toolbar's first row.

After clicking the button, a pop-up window will be displayed. Use the "Anchor Name" field to enter the name of the anchor. The name must be unique, and only letters, numbers, and dashes can be used. After entering the name, click the "Insert" button. You should now see a small anchor icon at the position of your cursor. Once the anchor has been added, click the "Submit" button to save your changes.

Creating the Anchor Link

Edit the Text Block or Post where the link should be added. Add link text if necessary, and highlight the text that will be linked. Next, click the "Insert/Edit Link" button. In the pop-up window, enter a "hashtag" symbol ( # ) followed by the anchor name.

For example, if your anchor name is "anchorpoint," the finished anchor link URL would be #anchorpoint

Finally, click the "Insert" button to link the text to your anchor. Once the anchor link has been added, click the "Submit" button to save your changes.
