1. Edit the Post Properties

Begin by mousing over the "Posts" tab, located in HillTop's top menu. In the drop down, select the Post Type that contains the Post to be featured (ex. Press Releases). at the top of any HillTop page. This will bring you to a list of Posts from the selected Post Type.

Here, locate the Post to be featured, then click the Properties button (gear icon) to the left of the title. This will bring you to the properties editor.

NOTE: If the Post does not yet have an image, click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the left of the title before visiting the properties editor. In the content editor's "Image" section, attach the image should should appear in the featured section/carousel. Submit the Post to save your changes, then proceed to the properties editor.

2. Edit the Feature Group

Next, locate the "Feature Groups" section. Tick the checkbox next to the appropriate Feature Group (ex. "Homepage"). The "From" field will autocomplete with the current date/time, and the "To" field is optional.

To "un-feature" the Post automatically, enter the date/time it should come down in the "To" field. To leave the Post up indefinitely, leave the "To" field blank.

3. Finish

Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and click either "Submit" button to complete the process.
