Introduction
Overview
The JEC Republican webapp homepage displays a selectable list of each state. After selecting a state, the webapp provides data for the current month, grouped into five sections.
The first two sections provide the Labor Market (BLS/HAVER) and Prices (BLS/HAVER/AAA) information, and are sorted into four columns: Key Data, Most Recent, Prior Month, and 12 Months Prior.
* the images shown below contain example data for Virginia in the month of October.
The next section contains the Economic Growth (BEA, WSJ/HAVER) information. This information is grouped into quarterly U.S. Real GDP and ST Real GDP data, and S&P 500 data.
The fourth section contains the Obamacare Premium Increases data. The data is broken down into Nationwide (Requested), Nationwide (Approved), and the Approved data for the state that is currently being viewed.
The fifth section contains the Minimum Wage (DOL/WHD) information. This is grouped into the National Hourly Rate and the selected state's Hourly Rate.
