Introduction

When making changes to a webpage, you may wish to revise existing text content, instead of adding new Text Blocks or FAQs to the page. The following tutorial explains how to use the content editor to update or modify your existing Text Blocks and FAQs.

Step 1: Editing the Page

To edit existing content, you will first need to navigate to the "Pages" section, and locate the page where the content appears. Click the "Pages" tab, located in the menu at the top of your HillTop Dashboard to view the list of pages on the site. Here, locate the title of the page where the content appears, then click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the left of the title. This will bring you to the content editor.

Step 2: Using the Content Editor

In the content editor, locate the Text Block that contains the text you would like to update or modify. Next, click the main body of text to open the editing window. Here, you can enter a new title (or "Question" for FAQs), if necessary, and use the "Content" section ("Answer" section for FAQs) with the editing toolbar to make updates to the Text Block or FAQ.

Step 3: Save your Changes

Once you have finished editing, click the "Submit" button to save your changes. Your changes should automatically be applied to the public-facing page. Click the "View on Website" button (located in the right sidebar) to see how your changes will be seen by visitors.
