The "Subpage Order" determines the order in which subpages are listed in menus, such as drop-downs from the main menu, or "Related Links" sidebar menus. The following tutorial will explain how to rearrange the order in which your subpages are listed in those menus.

Step 1 - Click the "Pages" Link

To begin, click the "Pages" link, located in the menu at the top of any HillTop page. This will bring you to a list of the site's pages.

Step 2 - Edit the Pages Properties

Locate the appropriate "parent page," under which the subpages are assigned, then click the Properties button (gear icon) to the left of its title. This will forward you to the properties editor.

For example, if you will be rearranging the drop-down menu under the "News" tab, you would open the properties editor for the "News" page.

Step 3 - Rearrange Subpage Order

Scroll down the page and locate the "Subpage Order" section. This section lists the titles of the subpages within separate gray boxes, or rows. The page titles are listed in the order they will appear in the menu(s).

If you mouse over the page titles, you will notice your mouse cursor changes to a four-sided arrow. Using the four-sided arrow cursor, you can click and drag the page titles to reflect your preferred order.
